I am a natural light and movement inspired photographer based in Oklahoma city, with a soft spot for people in love. I am a wife to the most incredible man on the planet —who is, I believe, a giant part of the reason I love my job so much. We have two precious kiddos and, as you can imagine, there is never a dull moment around our house. I am an enneagram 6, INFJ, Jesus loving girl who is just so thankful that she gets to do this for a living.
I have been a photographer since November of 2018. After we had our son, I was convinced that I would stay home 24/7 with him and our future children. I left my 9-5 and made no plans to go back to work in any capacity. Fast forward 4 months and I was in desperate need of something to do outside of the house. Something that was my own and that would fill the little space inside of me that wanted to contribute financially to our family. After a lot of prayer and consideration, my husband suggested photography. I was always intrigued by photography but never really thought I had the chops for it. We saved up and bought a camera and after months of research and practice, I launched my official photography business! We truly had no idea what a blessing this little hobby turned career would be to our family and I thank God every day for the incredible opportunities that I have been presented as a byproduct!
I quickly realized that I thrive when shooting couples and helping them tell their love stories. I also quickly realized that I am not the photographer for everyone. And that’s okay with me. At the very core of my being, I am extremely relational and very invested in YOU from the very first interaction we have. If you’re looking for a photographer who’s not much for small talk, and who is more focused on the product you will receive than who you are as a couple, I’m not the one for you. However, if you want someone who wants to hear every detail of how you met…who will advocate for and uphold your wishes on your wedding day…who will get a little teary while watching you promise your forever to each other…and who will catch those little in-between moments that you’ll look at and say “oh, that’s SO us!” … then I’m your girl.
